Summer Showcase 2023 Highlights

The MIX helped kick off the summer with two big shows, starting on Wednesday, June 7!

Day 1: Guerrilla Collective Showcase | Publisher Spotlights

The Guerrilla Collective returned to origins from the showcase's first year, with hosts Justin Woodward and Jaye Watts at the Kinda Funny Spare Bedroom studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. As with many showcases produced by The MIX, this year's Guerrilla Collective featured new trailers and announcements for some of the industry's best developers and publishers including Raw Fury, Akupara, Assemble Entertainment, Neon Doctrine, Joystick Ventures, HeroCraft PC, Ravenage, Wired Productions, Ysbyrd and Whitethorn Digital along with surprises and games from teams audiences hadn't heard about yet. Publisher Spotlights

Immediately after the Guerrilla Collective Showcase, the Publisher Spotlights continues a new show launched introduced by The MIX team last fall, focusing on top selected publishers. June Publisher Spotlights:

Partners Steam, IGN, GameSpot and Twitch continue to help raise visibility for games in MIX produced showcases, including a helpful Summer Spotlight landing page on Steam.The Guerrilla Collective kick off showcase led into additional spin out shows: the very first Dames 4 Games and a new Black Voices in Gaming.

Day 2: Guerrilla Collective Presents | Dames 4 Games | Black Voices in Gaming

The summer celebration continued June 13 with the Guerrilla Collective Presents show, followed by Dames 4 Games and Black Voices in Gaming.

Guerrilla Collective Presents shared additional games - Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip, Land Above Sea Below and Lisa Definitive Edition - along with highlights from this summer's first Guerrilla Collective Showcase.

Destinee Cleveland and Red InFamy hosted the very first Dames 4 Games, which featured interviews with women who work in the industry, women who love gaming, and those who aspire to make a change.
