Synopsis:

Explore 17th century Canadian wilderness through the eyes of Jeanne, a French woman who crossed the Atlantic to start anew and Maikan, an Innu hunter trying to discover what’s disturbing the forest. Your choices will shape the traits of the protagonists in this narrative single-player experience.

Two Falls (Nishu Takuatshina) is a first-person narrative-driven game that presents contrasting perspectives on the first encounters between French settlers and Indigenous communities.

Play successively as Jeanne and Maikan, uncovering their distinct realities, cultures, and their unique understandings of life. Each one of them has its own way to see, hear and feel the world, as represented through two artistic and musical directions.

Two Falls is a game about indigenous stories, created in collaboration with indigenous creative minds.

The composer (Eadsé), the art director, the writer, some actors and the 3D artists all come from various native communities from Canada.

We also work with a Council of Elders composed of First Nations members. They advise, guide us and explain to us which versions of the story they want to put forward.
