Synopsis:
EGGING ON IS “GETTING OVER IT”, BUT YOU ARE AN EGG!
It's a game about an egg that takes full advantage of its physical shape that makes it wobble, roll and hard to stop. You will climb and fall over and over again. Finally, you will master how to roll the egg straight and how to position the egg for a better jump. Yes, the egg may crack, but that's not the end of the game - you'll control the yolk until the shell recovers. It really is an eggcentric game!
Key Features:
You are an egg!
Face your greatest fear - falling and cracking. We feel that this is a natural theme for a game that references climbing games such as Getting Over It or Only Up.Egg shape physics-based controls
To our knowledge, Egging On is the first game to take full advantage of egg's shape. You can feel that you are controlling an egg and not another ball. Also, jumping requires good synchronization with the egg's rolling cycle and use of its momentum. We think that these challenging controls give a great synergy with the "Rage games" genre liked by streamers.Unique egg breaking mechanics
After breaking, the player controls the slimy yolk for a few seconds. It is prone to slipping through gaps or sliding down a sloping surface. The player must hold on to avoid falling lower until the eggshell regenerates.Egg decorating
There will be achievements that unlock patterns and colors that can be used in egg painting mode. In this mode you can freely paint the egg skins yourself. You could also unlock premade skins. There are also stamps that are applied on the egg where it touches them and are lost when the shell breaks. If you manage to get them to the top you will get rewards in the form of achievements. Here are some example skins that we have, also there are stamps that can be collected during gameplay.Twitch integration
It will enable viewers to impersonate hens and other birds through a chat entry and a random draw from among all those willing. Their nicknames would be displayed above the bird and they could fire off animations and sounds. After some time, the drawing would take place again to give other viewers a chance.
